Just noticed that if you look at it like this, it resembles an animal skull. Only it’s a landscape.

A certain amount of informational vacuum is so important for me when creating, I get too easily influenced by what other artists do, as if I have this urge to prove myself as a technically versatile artist. It took me the whole day of fruitlessly messing around with different materials until I just took a pen and finally sketched some shapes that are uniquely mine.

First attempt at working with pastel pencils(this one is 6,5x8,5cm), I feel real craving for colour, for flesh tones. Still, I need to get a little more grip on it, this one seems OK, but a little more saturated than I usually prefer.
